GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION OF DAMS, TUNNELS AND MINE TAILINGS STORAGE FACILITIES

SAIEG will be hosting a two-day course on geotechnical investigation aspects of dams, tunnels and tailings facilities. The course caters for engineering geologists and includes technical sessions on methods of investigation, best practice and case studies, presented by industry experts. Day one is mainly focused on general methods of investigation, while day two includes an array of case studies used to illustrate more advanced investigations and challenging projects undertaken.
Course material will be SACNASP CPD validated, with 1.0 CPD point available for each day of attendance.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The course will be targeted specifically at qualified and practicing engineering geologists, though geotechnical engineers will also benefit from it.
