The Science Forum South Africa 2017

06/12/2017 - 08/12/2017

Free

For the first time SACNASP has been given the opportunity to be part of the Forum. SACNASP was allocated two sessions on the 6th of December to discuss two topics:
1. Role of a Professional registering body and its constituent Voluntary Associations in the National Systems of Innovation (Chaired by Prof. Robin Crewe Pr.Sci.Nat.); and
2. Determining competency of Professional Natural Scientists (Chaired by Prof. Khathu Nephawe Pr.Sci.Nat. – Vice Chairperson of SACNASP).

Q & A session (± 45 mins) will follow each presentation.

The key objectives of the Forum remain:
1. To create a platform for a vibrant debate on the role of science, technology and innovation in society;
2. To promote international science, technology and innovation partnerships and
3. To create a platform for key science, technology and innovation actors, including senior government leaders, academics, scientists, industry, civil society, and students to interact.
