ABOUT THE SEMINAR
This seminar will cover Dolomite Evaluation focusing on the basics of Site Investigation and various remote sensing techniques. With a series of talks and discussions on sinkholes, D4 sites, case studies and current research from South Africa. A site visit will take place on Friday to the R21 and N1 sinkhole rehabilitation and sinkholes.
Tailored for engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers of all experience levels.
The event will be hybrid and delegates will be provided the opportunity to attend online.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The course will be targeted specially at candidate, qualified and practicing engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers. Those new to the field and experienced practitioners wanting a refresher, are welcome.

SEMINAR TIMES
The seminar will start at 08:30 on all three days. It will end at 17:00 on the seminar days, and the site visit will end at 15:30 on the Friday. On Wednesday, SAIEG’s AGM will take place at 17:00, followed by the seminar dinner (18:30) which is included in the registration fees.
