SAIEG presents a three-day introductory and refresher course on Geotechnical Core Logging, Soil Profiling and Chip Logging

THIS COURSE IS DESIGNED FOR:

• Training and mentoring of young or learner geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists
• Informing soil laboratory or geotechnical technologists
• Educating foreign geotechnical practitioners who need an introduction to the widely
  used South African methodology

Please note this is an introductory and refresher course and by no means a qualification. It is a prerequisite to have a certain level of geology knowledge equal to at least the level of geological training provided by a University or Technikon in the syllabus for civil engineers (semester course).
